Last August I wrote a column critical of Rick Warren’s decision to host a presidential candidate forum at his Saddleback Church. My reasoning then was that America’s crisis is moral ambiguity. I argued that Pastor Warren would only contribute to this ambiguity by hosting candidates with opposing views on issues such as abortion and homosexuality and presenting himself as a neutral moderator. - 10 Ways Personal Branding Can Save You From Getting Fired

Grocery retailer Giant, which operates about 160 pharmacies in the mid-Atlantic states, is offering free generic drugs this winter. The company says it knows it will lose money, but says its pharmacists have heard many anecdotes about families struggling.
I used to work for Giant. This could be a great thing for them. It gets people into the store who might buy other things while they’re there.
